Do you agree?

“For money you can have everything it is said. – No that is not true. You can buy food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health, soft beds, but not sleep, knowledge but not intelligence; glitter, but not comfort, fun, but not pleasure; acquaintances, but not friendship; servants, but not faithfulness; grey hair, but not honour; quiet days, but not peace. The shell of all things you can get for money. But not the kernel. That cannot be had for money.”

  1. Mash’Allah sister! That is so true! Money can buy the necessities food, water. Though, if a person is depressed often they won’t eat or drink. Money can’t make you confident or give you the basic emotional needs that we all crave as humans. This post was spot on and thought provoking sister. 😀

    May Allah reward you. ameen.

  3. Yeah, that’s certainly true. Not everything can be bought for money. You can’t buy friends, these are won by your heart. You can’t have happiness, or anything else. Money is just here as a means to get to it. It’s just here to ‘guide’ us to our aims and goals. But it takes a courageous heart to have what we want.

money also can bring more trouble then good
    more grief then happyness
more jeolousy then ‘I am happy for you you are well off ‘

  7. Of course! But this is where me and my husband differ… It’s complicated. I just want to say may Allah never test us with poverty and penury. (Amin!)

    Barka Jummah Sis, 🙂
