O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know and cooperate with one another.”

(Quran 49:13)

I came across an interesting excerpt that details steps in “building good relations with people of different faiths and beliefs.” As a Muslim, I believe that having good relations with people of other faiths has been one of my personal goals since having converted. I really enjoyed the following post and found much I could use when discussing Islam with others.

Please read for more information:

“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance’ (Surah al-Nahl 16:125, trans. Yusuf Ali)

  3. Mashallah, I agree with you all the way on this one. It really makes us wonder how on earth everyone got along during the Prophet’s (pbuh) time and kept the peace, and here we are now and can’t even say hi to someone who is of a different faith and belief system. I think its essential to put into practice our faith and that’s the most beautiful way to show the true Islam by our actions and behavior and dialoguing. Abrazos 😉

  4. This is one of the beauties of Islam that no other religion can claim.Allah knows how He created men, hence He knows the best way to get through to them. Alhamdulilah!

I read your blog and I feel blessed, proviledged and happy to be a Muslim and I think to myself, this is how one is supposed to feel everyday. May Allah reward you abundantly. I’m sure there are many people who read it and feel the beauty of Islam.
