No, there haven’t been such times, but my faith only grew stronger when I face in a crisis.
It is just that I trust Him and seek His help. He does it all, the Almighty.

Doubt my faith … NO but the practice of my faith has been at times like a roller coster… up and down. These are our tests… don’t give up trying and hoping to succeed….seek Allah’s help and His strength … insya’Allah we can do it!

Salaam aleikum!
I finally came to your blog! I was thinking about you , and came across this link, Mashallah you have done a beautiful job here, and I am going to read through some other things that are written here. I am glad that you have shared you story about growing up Catholic and Hispanic.
I grew up in the Christian church and found many disparities within the church and its teachings. I cannot say that I haven’t found some disparities with what Islam is and what happens among our communities…
Thank you for the encouragement(is that a word!?) to write I agreethat it is a a great way to eascape.

An excellent post mash’Allah. I always thought example worked better than preaching loudly at someone or rectifying them in front of others.
I agree with Sis Maryam, the humility of these da’ees shines through. After all who are we to correct others?
